  1. I just wanted to say thank you for this. I'm curious to learn more about this beautiful Chinese woman who burst into the Japanese music scene with "Ashita e no Sanka" awhile back (first song I heard) :)

  7. thanks. I went back and found part II. You're right Pommy, it's even better than part I. Alan is truly an amazing, wonderful, and inspiring person. She really respects her parents and hasn't let fame change her values. Her strength of character is incredible--really mature and talented!

  8. It is! I'm just glad that she hasn't sold out just for fame!~ Like other Japanese stars who just sells their image for sales...but alan has been true to herself all of this time!

And it really just breaks my heart to see all of the stress and loneliness she faced~

But I'm just so proud of her for staying strong :D

  9. I was really impressed when she said that she tries not to complain to her parents or other people about her difficulties. She tries hard to follow Buddhist principles like "right speech," taking care not to voice bad thoughts. It makes me feel bad for complaining about everything. Really, she is only 22 years old and much more mature than people twice her age!
